How It Is Used
Agarose is poured into the casting trays and a comb is set in place to form the wells, either at one end or in the middle of the gel. The set gels go into the buffer-filled chamber, samples are loaded, the lid is locked and the patch cords are connected to a separate electrophoresis power supply so the samples separate along the gel.
